About

The hospital grew around a small hospital that was founded by Heidar Alikhan Ezzolmoulouk in 1907. It was a charity hospital generating revenue from the net earnings of a village near Shiraz. In 1943, supported by Ali Asghar Hekmat, Shiraz municipality built a well-equipped hospital on the spot and named it Saadi Hospital which was known as the 100-bedded hospital.
