Shahid Dastgheib Library

On 23 July 1991, Shahid Dastgheib Hospital opened a small library in a15-square-meter space which shelved 20 volumes of books in Persian and 10 ones in English. This library became the foundation for the Hospital’s special library, now located on the first floor and covering a floor space of 80 square meters. The library’s resources are classified according to the National Library of Medicine (NLM) and the Library of Congress Classification (LCC) system. The management system that is launched by the Library is a web-based ILS, that is, Koha library software.
