Health information technology is information technology applied to health and health care (including the aged care market). It supports health information management across computerized systems and the secure exchange of health information between consumers, providers, payers, and quality monitors.
This program is intended for individuals who are employed in health services and who want to develop their leadership and management skills
Building upon a foundation of biology and chemistry courses, the Clinical Laboratory Sciences (CLS) Program prepares students to enter the CLS profession through advanced hands-on training in the clinical laboratory sciences.
The program introduces students to physical and clinical aspects of medical imaging modalities used in the radiology field. The curriculum includes coursework and clinical training in hospitals. The program qualifies students to work on different imaging techniques such as computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and nuclear medicine.
Operating Room as a course is a branch of medical sciences the graduates of which will have a mastery over the operating room structure, instruments, equipment, and processes, will help in performing operations in the best way, and will participate in medical care before, during and after operations. They will also provide the society with their learning in the fields of education, research, and services.
