You can apply to SUMS only through our online portal. To start an application, refer to Apply to SUMS, register in our website, fill in and submit the application form, using the username and password received at the time of registration. Then, upload the required documents there. You can obtain information on the necessary documents in the Requirements. You will receive several emails during the application, specifically once you register and after the successful completion of the application.

Non-Iranian Students who meet the admission requirements are invited to apply to study at SUMS, they must be 17 years old or older, prove high school completion, and meet English proficiency. 

Our Undergraduate and Graduate degree programmes  are listed in the A-Z Program index of our website. 

Make sure to send us your application before the end of the application period. All the required documents must be received by SUMS before the deadline passes. Although applications are open all year round, applicants are required to complete the application in time enough prior to the beginning of each semester.

Late applications may be accepted and considered but there is no guarantee they will be assessed in time for the proposed intake or that there will be space available in your selected programme or course(s). All applications received on time will be assessed before late applications.

 Postgraduate applicants might be interviewed, based on the University’s decision, in person or online

 Undergraduate applicants are not normally interviewed. However, in case SUMS decides to interview an applicant, an interview appointment will be arranged via email. 

If you are admitted to SUMS, we will notify you via email.

If you decide not to accept the offer of admission, you should decline your offer via e-mail.

 No. Shiraz University of Medical Sciences do not charge international applicants an application fee.

Yes, but applicants with higher GPAs have a bigger chance of admission to SUMS.

At each stage of your application procedure, you will be informed about your status via an email. Once we are aware of the results, we will send you an email, sharing them with you, both positive and negative ones. Based on your Academic performance you might get accepted, Rejected or waitlisted.

Female applicants will be treated equally as the male applicants. However, Iranian universities are mostly populated with female students.
