Avicenna Library

Avicenna Library is committed to the support of the overall vision, mission, and program of SUMS School of Health, the faculty members, and the Departments in particular. Its commitment is demonstrated trough the production and maintenance of library services geared toward retrieval, acquisition, preservation, and dissemination of information. The library’s books are divided into eight categories according to the programs offered at the School, videlicet, Epidemiology, Nutrition, Occupational Health, Environmental Health, Public Health, Health Education, and Aging and Medical Entomology. Also, the library's books cover a vast scope of subjects, including epidemiology, nutrition sciences, occupational health, environmental health, public health, health education and promotion, aging health, gerontology, and medical entomology.
