The field of Midwifery consists of a series of theoretical and empirical training courses. Training committed and skilled workforce with the ability to provide specialized obstetric services in various field of health, education and research, with a community-oriented approach, is the main mission of the program. This program was first launched in 1984 at Tarbiat Modarres University, Tehran, Iran.
