M.S. program in Medical Entomology and Vector Control aims at studying different groups of Arthropods which have a crucial significance in medicine. In the recent years, in spite of the implementation of regular programs for controlling diseases, climate changes, environmental interference, political and social developments, and unstable Human Ecology around the world, diseases such as Malaria, Leishmaniasis, Borrelia, Onchocerciasis, Elephantiasis, Typhus, Arbovirus, etc., which are transmitted to humans by particular species of arthropods, are the most important diseases that demand considerable health and sanitation efforts.
